FG: The Arena (top-down)

Alright, so here is a top-down view of the arena to help you folks visualize it better.

The arena is an open chamber in the belly of the Slaver's ship that's about four stories tall and the width of two soccer fields. The bottom floor is gray, where the arena is located. The trolls will be fighting here. It's generally featureless until the guards put in obstacles...but we'll get to that later.

The door that the contestants walk through when it's their match is also on this floor, and the passage can be seen on the master floorplan.

The next floor up is the blue, where the main audience seating is. The blue on the south end of the map is where the kids can sit, and on the north end is where the guards/adult staff will sit if they choose to spectate.

The purple above the blue is the kids' exit. It's a wide landing where concessions and whatnot are located, and the door out to the rest of the ship is beyond that.

Finally the gold boxes are the highest level. The south is the observatory lounge set up for the kids-- you can see this on the master floorplan. The northern one is where the highblood and captain sit. They have access to an intercom that projects throughout the arena.

I think that's all the important details...again, minor details are up to you guys. Artistic license and all. There aren't any viewports in the arena area as that would be incredibly dangerous, but other than that you guys have free reign. The drop between the audience and the arena is a sheer, smooth wall to prevent the competitors from crawling out of the fight and into the audience.
